The Simsbury Flying Club describes its 2017 Simsbury Fly-In and Car Show as "a special kind of country fair." But instead of focusing on fried foods and barnyard animals, this fair is all about vehicles that drive on the road or soar above it. The 2017 Simsbury Fly-In and Car Show will host more than 750 aircraft and cars, just as it does every year, on Saturday, September 17th at the Simsbury Airport.

The vehicles encompass different eras, makes and models, and many different functions. Some of the roadsters previously operated as military transportation, whereas others are luxury cars designed to do nothing more than offer a fast, smooth ride. When it comes to the aircraft, you'll see everything from a WWII B-17 Bomber to a gyrocopter, some of them parked and some flying overhead. There will also be kid-friendly activities, plenty of food and drink vendors, and other family-friendly entertainment at the 2017 Simsbury Fly-In and Car Show.
