Plan a Day Trip to Six Flags New England This Summer

July 6, 2017 | trioonline

Six Flags New England recently acquired a new rollercoaster, and it extends beyond three dimensions. The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster sends riders zipping around a track equipped with super-strong magnets, which allow them to flip head over feet and actually face their fellow riders. Once you ascend the 120-foot hill and zoom down a pair of 90-degree drops, you won't forget about The Joker again.

But this high-thrills coaster is just one of the many rides that await at Six Flags New England. Of course, the famed theme park is home to many other high-speed rollercoasters, but it also boasts a lineup of kid-friendly rides, from the carousel to water slides. On a hot day, head to Hurricane Harbor, the biggest water park in the region. It showcases more than 100 rides like Splash Island, wave pools, and 30-plus swirling waterslides.
