Enjoy Authentic Cuisine From Havana at the Brand-New QBA Cuban Kitchen!

August 7, 2015 | sack

From food truck to brick-and-mortar restaurant, QBA Cuban Kitchen is now open and serving authentic cuisine straight from Havana. The restaurant started as a food truck in New York, but as of July evolved into a full-blown restaurant in San Mateo situated less than a mile from [WEBLINK]

You can choose from a classic Cubano sandwich — ham, pork, mojo Swiss cheese and pickles — or items like a mojito chicken sandwich, grilled veggies and sweet plantains, Cuban-style pulled pork, Cuban black bean soup, and sweet plantains served with salsa.

Note that QBA Cuban Kitchen does not take reservations and is closed on Mondays. Until it's out of its soft-opening phase (which should be in September), the restaurant is only open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Reviews on Yelp have called QBA Cuban Kitchen perfectly authentic, so transport your taste buds to Cuba without stepping on a plane!
