Experience Global Fusion Fare at All Spice
December 22, 2015 | sack
According to Thrillist, All Spice is one of the best restaurants on the Peninsula. And since it's only a short trip away from Hillsdale Square, you can test that claim for yourself at dinner tonight. The public certainly seems to agree with Thrillist's assessment, delivering rave Yelp reviews for everything from the appetizers to the desserts.
The chefs find a seamless way to fuse Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean, and other global flavors in their inventive menu, starting with the apps. Kick off your meal with the tandoori octopus a la plancha or the crispy kurabota pork belly to taste what they can do. Then move on to one of the colorful, creative entrees, such as the lemon-ricotta dumplings, the pan-seared sea bass with Vadouvan-piquillo pepper risotto, or the prime beef ribeye with house-made lamb bacon. Just make sure that you save enough room for the ever-popular dark chocolate "kulfi," a macadamia nut brittle crafted with tandoori spices and served with ginger creme anglais.
