Bring the Kids to CuriOdyssey, a Science Playground
January 13, 2016 | sack
CuriOdyssey, a popular destination for family-friendly fun, is conveniently located not too far from Hillsdale Square. It's a child's dream with hands-on educational fun throughout the space. A self-described science playground, CuriOdyssey offers a variety of science-themed fun to both entertain and educate kids.
Activities at CuriOdyssey include wildlife shows, science classes, after-school programs, workshops, and more. Animals take the spotlight during feedings—both otter and bobcat—while science is the focus of Backyard Science, a new exhibit where kids are encouraged to get hands-on and experience science as it relates to daily life.
CuriOdyssey is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on Mondays and major holidays.
Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors (those over the age of 62), $7 for students (ages 13 to 17), $6 for children (ages 2-12), and free for those 23 months and younger. Admission is always free for CuriOdyssey members.
