Do you love learning about your family ancestry? Then you’ll want to mark your calendar for June 18 for Ancestry Day by the Bay.
Representatives from several libraries and genealogical societies will be present at the event, including the African American Genealogical Society, California Genealogical Society, San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Genealogical Society and the San Francisco Public Library.
This event will offer details on how to get the most out of Ancestry.com. The event costs $50 per person, which includes a light breakfast and all the activities during Saturday’s event. There will be door prizes and raffles, so be sure to plan to stay for the whole day.
Proceeds from Ancestry Day by the Bay will benefit the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation.
