It just wouldn’t be a proper summer in California without an engaging weekly music series in a town near you. For residents of San Mateo, they don’t have to travel very far to hear some outstanding live music by some of the area’s best musicians.

The City of San Mateo presents the 2016 Central Park Music Series, featuring a ton of awesome musicians playing a wide range of genres. From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm every Thursday evening through August 18, Central Park will be hosting their signature summer event, featuring country, rock and Latin music by artists like Urban Outlaws, Mustache Harbor, Tito Garcia y su Orchestra Internationale, Popfiction, Mersey Beach, Lost Dog Found, and Club 90.

The City of San Mateo sponsors this event every year in order to provide you with memorable summer evenings of absolutely free live music.
