If you're a fan of both Mexican and Japanese cuisine, then the sushi burrito is a trending dish that needs to be on your to-eat list. When Dozo Izakaya debuted about two months ago, it brought the sushi-rito to your neighborhood. Come to the Foster City eatery for lunch if you want to sink your teeth into this unique form of fusion food.

Try La Rumba, a sushi burrito stuffed with imitation crab and shrimp tempura, guac and salsa, carrots, corn, lettuce, and green tobiko. If you like some heat in your sushi, order La Salsa. Salmon and spicy tuna mingle with cucumber and papaya, guacamole and salsa, and green tobiko and mango sauce in this creation. Sushi traditionalists can also enjoy classic rolls from the sushi bar, like the California roll, or sashimi or nigiri.
