Apple Fritter is a hip counter-serve diner offering more than just pastries — although it wouldn’t hurt to try their famed doughnuts or apple fritters, too. The charming eatery also dishes up egg scrambles, burgers, and sandwiches. For something sweet to start the day, try the Toothfairy: three slices of thick egg bread dipped in their house-made cinnamon vanilla batter. Other breakfast favorites include the Hippiehash, Brunch-urrito, and the Denver Scramble. Locals also love their burgers, which are seasoned with secret house spices and grilled on a temperature-controlled griddle to perfection.

The interior is quaint and funky with all sorts of interesting décor hanging from the ceiling, including birdcages, a small airplane, plants, and string lights. When you arrive, there will most likely be a line stretching out the door, but don’t let that deter you – it moves fast and you’ll usually get your food in less than 10 minutes. Apple Fritter provides both indoor and outdoor seating along with a convenient parking lot.
