Three Restaurant: Relax in a Fresh, Bright and Modern Cafe

November 11, 2014 | sack

All the food at Three Restaurant is good, but regulars particularly love visiting this San Mateo eatery for brunch. Treat yourself to the rich crab cake Benedict topped with a unique caper-infused hollandaise, or go for the fried egg sandwich loaded with bacon, cheddar, and chipotle aioli. If you've got a sweet tooth you won't want to miss the traditional buttermilk waffles served with fresh fruit and topped with whipped cream, and don't forget to add one of the bottomless mimosas to your brunch order to get the full experience.

Three Restaurant also offers a number of salads and sandwiches that are great for a quick, casual lunch, as well as more elaborate dinner preparations, including dishes like coffee-chili rubbed New York strip steak served with chimichurri sauce and house-made gnocchi in a rich blue cheese sauce.

Whatever you order, you can be sure it is prepared with care using herbs from the restaurant's living wall, vegetables from the roof-top garden, and other locally sourced, organic ingredients.
