Dedham Community Theatre: Travel Back to Hollywood’s Golden Age
April 2, 2015 | greystar
Founded in 1927, the Dedham Community Theatre is a historic performing arts center in the heart of downtown Dedham. Walking through the doors here will transport you back into time. High ceilings, ornate crown molding, and warm mahogany furniture are reminiscent of Hollywood's Golden Age. Independent and classic films are the focus and are shown every day of the year. While enjoying your film, sit back and relax in the comfortable seats while having a glass of wine or beer, candy, snacks or some piping hot popcorn with real butter.
Dedham Community Theatre is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is reasonably priced at $8.50 for matinees (until 3 p.m.), seniors, and children under 12, while general admission costs $10. The venue is available to rent for small group screenings and gatherings for up to 300 guests.
