Package Etiquette

October 25, 2015 | greystar

We’ve been getting a lot of feedback, questions, and concerns with our new package log and about notices for packages to the leasing office. We value and appreciate this feedback and as a result, we’d like to provide you with answers and helpful information about your packages:

  • Please make sure you sign your package out via our package log. This is the only way we keep track of packages. We log them as they come in, and send one notice per package weekly.
  • The latest delivery each day is around 4pm. Please allow until 5:30pm each day for a package notice to go out regarding your package.
  • Daily package delivery notifications are a courtesy and not guaranteed. While we definitely don’t mind reminding you about package updates, sometimes we have a million and one things to do in the leasing office and do not get a chance to send out a reminder before 6pm. Please check with your mail carrier first (i.e. Amazon, USPS, FedEx, UPS) for delivery updates to ensure proper updates.
  • Perishable items are always refrigerated in the clubhouse. If you know your package is perishable, please mention it when coming to pick up your package.
  • Please ensure that your packages get delivered between the hours of 10am-6pm Mon-Sat, and 1pm-6pm Sunday. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been left outside the leasing office or building because they were delivered too early or too late.
  • Make sure you are including your apartment number when ordering packages, and including your apartment number in your address when giving it out. It makes it difficult for both the delivery carrier and us to figure out which package belongs to who when there is no apartment number listed.
  • Only authorized residents are allowed to pick up packages. If you need someone other than a person listed on your lease to pick up your package, you must send us an email authorizing them to sign it out.
  • If you do not pick up your package within a week of delivery, it will be sent back. Unless you notify us via email that you are unable to pick-up your package within this time frame, it will be sent back.

The best way to ensure that you receive notifications from us is to update your email in the leasing office. Should you have any questions, give us a call at 781-320-1370 or e-mail dedhamstation@greystar.com . We appreciate your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Your Jefferson at Dedham Station Team
