This lush, green course was designed by renowned course designer Donald Ross way back in 1938, but since then it’s undergone extensive renovations to make sure that it’s ahead of the current golfing advancements. It’s been voted one of the best courses in the country by many golf magazines, and today it’s run by the city of Boston to ensure its upkeep and provide residents with an affordable public course.

The 18-hole course spans 156 acres of beautiful, scenic outdoor space, and although it can be quite challenging, it’s accessible for players of all skill levels. There is a well-stocked pro shop filled with golf essentials from top brands, as well as the Wright Grill, which offers casual food before or after your round. With frequent tournaments and other events, this is truly a fun and social course.
