Washington Stage Guild: Theater that Stands the Test of Time

Classic theatrical pieces stand the test of time and new productions are performed by the Washington Stage Guild. One of the most established repertory companies in the country, the Washington Stage Guild’s productions are performed at the Undercroft Theater at Mount Vernon Place. The current season includes classics such as Shaw’s Pygmalion, Dante’s Inferno, and Eliot’s The Elder Statesman. The D.C. premiere of an off-Broadway production is also on the calendar. And getting tickets is easy. The best way is to become a subscriber where, for one low price, you will get tickets for each performance of the season. Per-show tickets are $40 during the week, and $50 on weekends. Students always pay half-price, and seniors get a great deal – just $10 per performance! Because shows sell out fast, it is recommended that you reserve your tickets ahead of time.
