Newtown Food Truck Fest: Treat Your Dad to a Feast This Father’s Day
June 14, 2017 | greystar
What better way to let your father know you care than by treating him to some of your area's freshest food? The Newtown Food Truck Fest makes it easy to celebrate on Father's Day when it unfolds at Council Rock North High School on Sunday, June 18th from 5 to 8 p.m.
Load up the car with blankets or lawn chairs and head to the fest with your father and other family members. Admission is free, although parking is a $10 suggested donation that benefits the Newtown Theatre. The modest fee is more than worth access to the many food trucks that will be on hand, including Blend Life, which dishes out smoothies and hummus, and Cow and the Curd, a vendor in beer-battered Wisconsin cheese curds. El Guaco Loco will dish out tacos and burritos, while Nomad Pizza promises organic, local wood-fired pizzas. Bring along cash to purchase food from the various trucks at this local festival.
