Toast a Special Occasion Over a Steak Dinner at Jeffrey’s

If you’re looking for your next special occasion splurge, consider making a reservation at Jeffrey’s, a venerable Austin dining destination that's been in business since 1975.

Expect to be pampered here. Diners' cars, for instance, are parked by the complimentary valet service, while plush intimate seating encourages you to sit and linger. The waitstaff is professional and hospitable, so don't be shy about requesting that they pass by with the martini and cheese carts before your meal. The menu is crafted with care and encompasses steaks, unique appetizers like burrata with strawberries, and soups and salads galore. Save room for one of the decadent desserts, like the poached pear tart!

Jeffrey's is open for dinner 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Sunday is "wine night" with half-priced bottles from Jeffrey’s wine cellar, and happy hour is served daily from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Corral Clutter and Create Beautiful Vignettes Around the Home Using Serving Trays

If you’re looking for an affordable way to add high style to your home, using serving trays is a great idea. On countertops, dressers, and even on the bed, serving trays add a designer-inspired look to any surface in the home. Here’s some inspiration for styling trays.

  1. Add a serving tray to your coffee table to corral remote controls, display magazines, and hold decorative objects. You can even add scented candles to create an enjoyable ambiance.
  2. Use serving trays in the bathroom to organize your everyday essential products. Add one to the back of the toilet if you’re lacking in cabinet space, or use one under the sink to hold lotion and soap bottles upright.
  3. Place a serving tray next to the front door to create a drop-off place for your keys, cell phone, and other items that would normally amount to clutter.
  4. Center a kitchen island by adding a decorative tray for displaying flower vases and plants. You may also want to add your favorite cookbooks to keep them within reach.
  5. While serving trays are originally used for serving food and beverages, they’re just as great for serving breakfast in bed—or even a midnight snack. If you enjoy relaxing with a good book and glass of wine at night, use a serving tray to avoid spills.

Turn Your Kitchen at Mosaic at Mueller Into a Pizzeria With These Pizza Dough Recipes

The next time you’re planning a pizza night at home, forget your usual delivery spot and make your own pie. With these easy and authentic recipes for homemade pizza dough, you can turn your apartment into your own miniature pizzeria!

Pizza Crust [King Arthur Flour]
If you have some free time early in the week, make this simple recipe that holds for up to two days. It bakes thin and crispy when rolled flat with a rolling pin, but if you prefer a chewy crust, it can also be made thicker.

Quick Basic Pizza Dough [Martha Stewart]
For hot, fresh pizza on the spot, this quick dough is very simple to make. Simply mix your flour with olive oil, salt and a sprinkle of sugar, and then give it a few kneads before using. If you have leftover dough, you can also wrap it in secure plastic wrap and store it in the freezer for up to three months.

My Favorite Pizza [The Pioneer Woman]
Whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, this recipe for pizza crust can be topped with anything to make it your own. This recipe makes two separate pies, so it’s perfect for pizza parties, and it even stores in the refrigerator for up to three days.
