Anyone who wants to celebrate the mild fall weather while spending time outside should take part in, or watch, the 2016 Pumpkin Cup Windsurfing Festival. The festival returns to the Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club on October 15th and 16th for a full weekend of windsurfing on the lake. Windsurfers of all levels, even beginners, are invited out to this two-day competition. After the races on Saturday, the fun continues with dinner and live music at a celebratory party.

Racers are encouraged to camp at the yacht club grounds on both Friday and Saturday nights. Registration for the races ranges from $70 to $90. The Saturday night party and dinner are $25 per person.
