With fall right around the corner, the projects at Painting with a Twist will soon showcase autumnal scenes. A swirly fall pumpkin; a tree splashed with bright fall hues; an owl sitting on a branch. These are just a few of the portraits that Painting with a Twist invites the public to paint this September—with a glass of wine in hand.

This is how the studio works: first, start by perusing the calendar online and registering for a class that catches your eye. Each class description is accompanied by a photo of what students will be painting, so it's easy to make you pick. After you register, start planning your menu of food and drink. This Painting with a Twist location is BYO, so pick up your favorite bottle of wine or craft beer and some snacks to munch on before you arrive. Once at the studio, your instructor will walk you step by step through the process of recreating your chosen painting, so no prior art experience is necessary. Then each novice artist leaves with his or her own creation to hang on the wall at home!
