When the town of Little Elm recently updated Beard Park, locals say they did an excellent job. Its cute play structures, new pavilion, and well-maintained walking paths are all reasons that residents love to head to Beard Park on a sunny day in Little Elm.

The nature-inspired playground particularly draws families to Beard Park, especially those who have youngsters in the pre-elementary school category. There's a tree house to climb, slides to enjoy, and even merry-go-rounds and rope bridges. There are also plenty of trails for adults to enjoy, which connect to the larger network of the Lakefront Trails system. So stop by this fall to enjoy a long walk, run, or a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
