Celebrate Your Freedom at the July Jubilee
July 1, 2016 | orion
Each year, people all across the nation ring in the month of July with fireworks and fanfare. In Little Elm, the Independence Day festivities unfold from 5 to about 11 p.m. at the July Jubilee. The fun, food, and live entertainment fill Little Elm Park, much to the delight of local families and residents who look forward to the bash every year.
Parking can be tight, so you might want to pay $20 for a reserved parking spot ahead of time or park at the high school football stadium on Hart Road and grab a shuttle to the festivities. If you're bringing a canopy or tent along, however, you'll have to park and walk—and you may want your tent on hand so that you can set up shop in the park. At least bring along a few lawn chairs or a blanket so you can spread out and enjoy the live music and activities, then ooh and ahh over the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
