If you live in the Little Elm area and are looking for a unique way to spend a summer day, check out Hydrous Wake Park. Located just three miles from Orion Frisco Lakes, Hydrous Wake Park is a unique wakeboarding training facility that offers all sorts of fun in the sun.

Wakeboarding, a sport where riders use a short and wide board and are typically pulled by a motorboat, is becoming a more and more popular activity, and at Hydrous, there are training lakes within the park for beginners to learn the sport. Here, instead of being attached to a motorboat, riders are pulled around a lake by an overhead cable. Alternatively, pro wakeboarders can enjoy high-speed rides after 6:00 p.m. Rides on the lake are priced per hour, starting at just $20 for one hour. If you have a special occasion coming up, you can book a private party at Hydrous Wake Park.
