What screams autumn more than a yearly Oktoberfest celebration? If you’re looking forward to cooler temperatures and seasonal beer, check out the 2016 McKinney Oktoberfest. The festival takes place just before the month of October officially kicks off, from September 23rd through the 25th, in historic Downtown McKinney, just about four miles from Orion McKinney.

The three-day festival will include days packed full of German culture and history, food, and, of course, lots of beer. Now in it's eighth year, the festival will be spread out over 14 blocks, and Main Street will be the place to join the activities. Admission to the festival is free, but you’ll have to pay your way to some bratwurst and beer.
