Bike the Bricks is much more than a fun, leisurely bike ride through downtown McKinney. To the contrary, it's a grueling competition for quite a hefty prize: $25,000. So it should come as no surprise that this race attracts serious cyclists from all around the country, racing in pursuit of the cash.

Of course, Bike the Bricks isn't just fun for competitors. Spectators line up along the streets to watch the cyclists as they zoom by. Additionally, Bike the Bricks visitors can sample cuisine from the many food booths set up around downtown. Spirits and other activities keep the fun flowing all day long at Bike the Bricks. The event will unfold in McKinney on Friday, May 26th from 3 to 11 p.m.
