Third Monday Trades Days: Explore a Sprawling Flea Market
February 14, 2017 | orion
McKinney has been the hub for local commerce since the 1870s, the decade that the first county-wide flea market debuted. In the nearly 200 years since then, the city has continued to grow, and along with it, the thriving business scene. See how things have changed at Third Monday Trades Days.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before the third Monday of the month, McKinney hosts a massive flea market that attracts more than 450 vendors. The vendors offer something for everyone, from antiques and home decor to contemporary clothing and sporting goods. There's also a large variety of specialty items and collectibles, not to mention many vendors dedicated to dishing out hot food like the stuff you'd find at the state fair. Don't miss the next Third Monday Trade Days event on February 17th, 18th, and 19th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4550 West University Drive.
