Stargaze for Free at Frisco Commons Park

January 17, 2017 | orion

The night sky is a subject that many people are interested in but don’t often have the chance to learn about. Residents of Frisco are in luck, though, as Frisco Commons Park hosts monthly star parties where guests can stargaze while learning about planets, galaxies, stars, and more. Organized by the Texas Astronomical Society, the event calls on Astronomical Society volunteers to set up professional-grade telescopes and teach guests about the celestial sights that they're looking at.

The recurring stargazing event happens on the second Saturday of every month. Admission to the event is completely free, and Frisco Commons Park is less than 20 minutes from Orion Prosper. Be sure to check out this cool event!
