Explore Historic Downtown McKinney at the 2017 Texas Downtown Conference

If you're looking for an excuse to explore your city, the 2017 Texas Downtown Conference is it. From Tuesday, November 7th to Friday, November 10th, the Texas Downtown Association and Texas Main Street Program will come together to transform a few blocks downtown, just as they have every year since 1986.
The festival is jam-packed with educational sessions that will teach you about different aspects of your historic city. The conference has two keynote speakers: the first is Ian Lockwood from the Toole Design Group. With a background in designing city layouts, he'll explain how McKinney's city planner created such a beautiful and walkable downtown area. The other keynote speaker is Daron K. Roberts, a former NFL coach and university professor who now serves as a motivational speaker and an author.
