If you love craft beer, but you've yet to take the plunge into homebrewing, the Stout Homebrew Class is a great opportunity to get started. It's led by Chad Burnett, former chef to the stars and current owner of Burnett's Biergarten. The biergarten isn't a pub, but rather a homebrew school where Chad shares his talents with novices.

On Saturday, November 11th, come to Chad's home for a crash course in crafting a stellar stout, as well as a backyard breakfast barbecue. Enjoy hands-on instruction as you and classmates brew up five gallons of stout step by step and then learn how to bottle the brews. At the end of the class, you get to sample some of Chad's own home-brewed stout with gourmet fare such as brisket breakfast tacos. Tickets are $75.
