From wedding days to field trips, Chestnut Square Historic Village hosts all kinds of special events. The 2.5 acres near downtown McKinney retain a historic air, filled with buildings dating as far back as 1854. The historic structures set the stage for a living museum where actors bring the past of Collin County to the present.

Take a docent-led tour of the village to learn how people lived in your town back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There are special trolley tours and fun activities for field trips and families as well as events like the Saturday farmers' market and regular farm-to-table dinners.
