October 18, 2017 | orion

Twelve wineries from around North Texas. Forty booths manned by the owners of local boutiques. Countless tastes of wine for $1 apiece. Expect all of the above at the first annual McKinney Wine and Music Festival on Saturday, October 21st at Adriatica Village. The free, public event will run from noon to 4 p.m., offering plenty of time to taste test a variety of vino.

Big Rock Winery, Zin Zen Wine Bistro, and Kissing Tree Vineyards are a few of the wine producers who will pour tastes and glasses of their top wines ($5 – $7 for a glass). Get an insider look at the way the wine is made when you participate in the grape stomp, or check out the culinary demo tent where you can watch local chefs as they work.
