If you love your town of McKinney, then come celebrate it and learn more about its history at the 2017 Texas Downtown Conference. The Texas Downtown Association and the Texas Main Street Program team up to bring the conference to historic downtown McKinney just as they have for more than 30 years.

The 2017 Texas Downtown Conference is slated for November 7th to 10th, and it will unfold right on the streets of historic downtown McKinney. Come out to sit in on educational sessions telling the behind-the-scenes stories of the historic neighborhood, to network with other folks who work downtown, and to simply explore the neighborhood and enjoy local food. The day begins with a presentation by Ian Lockwood of Toole Design Group, who will explain the ins and outs of designing a downtown area, and ends with a speech by former NFL coach and author Daron K. Roberts.
