The owner of Blue Collar opened the restaurant with the goal of creating a family style restaurant where all people can enjoy the diverse food. He succeeded. Its simple name is deceptive, but Miami's Burger and Beer offers gourmet upgrades to this classic combination. The “Hotel California” is their most popular sandwich made with Prime Angus beef, and topped with guacamole, grilled onion, jalapeno relish, cilantro sour cream, sharp cheddar and a fried egg. If you like spicy food, try the “Sympathy for the Devil.” If you're looking to indulge, go for the $32 Stairway to Heaven burger – a 10 oz Wagyu beef patty topped with 3 oz of foie gras, and a black truffle demi glaze and served with a side of duck fat fries with parsley and roasted garlic aioli! The bar boasts a large list of bottled beers, as well as spiked adult milk shakes. If you love gastropubs and gourmet burgers, try Miami’s Rok: Brgr. Their 17 specialty burgers combine creative flavors and ingredients to make a memorable meal. Most start with handmade patties using fresh Certified Angus beef and are cooked to order. The “King James” burger is one of their more popular offerings, topped with Brie, Kurobuta pork belly, red onion marmalade and truffle aioli. The “Bacon Jam” with Brie and the house maple bourbon bacon jam is a close second. These burgers can be expensive, but regulars find value in the difficult to replicate taste and great service. If you want a Rok:Brgr experience on a budget, stop in on Monday night, when all burgers are $10, but there are specials every day of the week. Regulars find the patio to be the best place to dine.
