The owners transformed a formerly smoky and dingy bar into a fresh and modern full service restaurant. The menu has a variety of small plates and appetizers perfect for sharing with a group of friends for a girls night out. The bacon wrapped jalapeno shrimp with an apricot glaze, Hawaiian inspired tuna poke nachos with Pacific fusion flavors, and crispy blue cheese fries are customer favorites. Salads and burgers are popular entrees, but the menu has plenty of substantial main dishes from pasta to steaks. Fore's bar and lounge is known as one of the top happy hour spots in the West Austin area with inventive cocktails and martinis like the cucumber basil martini. Everything is made in-house in their mobile kitchen, including bread, salsas, pickles, and veggie chips. They also brine their chicken, so it’s super moist and succulent.
