​Secret Spot, located in Huntington Beach, is a hip counter-service eatery offering vegetarian and vegan bites along with a wide selection of smoothies. A sign hangs over the counter that reads, “Everything is made fresh. No heat lamps, no microwaves. Please be patient. It’s worth the wait.” Everything on the menu is truly made-to-order with fresh ingredients, and it matches the eatery’s laidback surfer vibe. Secret Spot has colorfully painted walls, baby cacti growing in the window, and seating available both inside and outside.

Try the Italian Melt with sweet red peppers, meaty Portobello mushrooms, melted provolone cheese, and salty basil pesto on toasty sourdough bread. Another favorite is the Surround Sound burrito stuffed with fried potatoes, gobs of cheese, creamy avocado, and a sweet and savory homemade barbecue sauce.
