The Turtle Rock Viewpoint Trail is a 1.6-mile hike near Irvine that features stunning views in every direction. The trail is shared by hikers, dog walkers, and trail runners, and includes ocean views to the West and mountain views to the North. 

The path is a short but intense aerobic workout, as it features climbs to the trail’s high point at Ridgeline Drive from both end points. As you make your way to the top, take a moment to explore the lush, green plants that neighbor the trail. While this hike is beautiful during any time of day, consider watching the sunset in this scenic Irvine location or admire all the beautiful lights at night.

The trail is located next to Chaparral Park, which also features open grassy fields and a playground for children. Street parking is available, however it is recommended to park near the tennis courts. The trail remains open year round, and dogs are allowed on a leash.
