Have you ever experienced crispy bacon wrapped around a pineapple stuffed with smoky pulled pork? This salty-sweet creation is known as a "Swine Apple," and you can sink your teeth into one at the International Bacon Fest in Houston on Saturday, October 7th.
From 1 to 7 p.m., HTX Sports Creek transforms into one big tasting room where pork serves as the tasty focal point. Doughmaker Donuts, Bacon Brothers Public House, and more will collaborate with many other Houston eateries and food trucks to dish out food that features bacon or other forms of pork. The real star of the show is the Bacon Bar by Bundt Cake-A-Holic. Although the exact contents of the Bacon Bar remain shrouded in mystery, rest assured it will have everything you need to create a decadent, treat. Tickets start at $5 for kids and $10 for adults, and food and drink are sold separately.
