Of course, some visitors note that it's not quite the kind of place you might choose to go if you want to run a quick errand. Many visitors note that you could spend the better part of a day here seeing all the stores. Here you'll find upscale shops like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom, along with specialty stores like an Apple store, Tiffany & Co., and Gucci.

Enjoy art outdoors near Siena at Memorial Heights at the Bayou City Art Festival. This local arts event takes place in Houston's Memorial Park and features the work of hundreds of practicing artists. According to the event's website, nearly 20 different media are represented, which means you'll see paintings, sculptures, photographs, and much more. Music and food are also on the agenda, making the festival a fun place to spend a day outside.

It happens from March 27 through March 29 in Memorial Park. The Bayou City Art Festival begins on Friday, March 27 at noon, then opens on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking and ATMs are available on site, and you can purchase tickets in advance online from the festival's Eventbrite page. (They're $15 for general admission.) Lawn chairs, blankets, sunglasses, and hats are some of the items you might want to consider bringing with you to this fun outdoor event.

Pizza is the highlight here, and Luna offers a number of signature pies with high-quality ingredients like fresh mushrooms, Italian sausage, prosciutto, arugula, and kalamata olives.
