You don't have to leave the country to experience Caribbean-inspired fun. In fact, you don't even have to leave Texas—or Houston, for that matter. The Caribbean Heritage Month Festival is coming to you on Saturday, June 3rd, starting at 2 p.m. in the Jones Plaza downtown. And it promises everything you need to be immersed in Caribbean culture.

That includes, of course, live music. Bands will play some upbeat tunes during the day and will be joined by Samba musicians and traditional dancers. The 2nd Annual Cinco de Mile Block Party celebrates Cinco de Mayo well into the 6th of May. The bar crawl and scavenger hunt leads guests around Houston, starting at Capital Bar at 2 p.m. on Friday and ending at 5 a.m.—or as late as you can go—on Saturday.
