Family owned and operated for over 33 years, Hope Pizza Restaurant has been serving Stamford diners its popular pies. Homemade dough bakes up into a thick and flakey crust, strong enough to hold a mountain of toppings – and Hope Pizza offers over thirty from Artichokes to Zucchini. Pies are topped with a bubbly blend of mozzarella and white cheddar cheese and are cut square. Regulars suggest ordering one of their enormous salads and recommend having it tossed with gorgonzola and chicken soulvaki. Although most customers come in for pizza, there are plenty of other favorites from pastas to sandwiches. Try their Avogolemono chicken soup, made from a secret family recipe. It's always busy at Hope Pizza, but the large dining room ensures plenty of space and an efficient kitchen ensures your meal arrives promptly. Small Plates Barbecue at Bar Q

Bar Q combines two food trends; barbecue and small plates. This innovative concepts gives Stamford barbecue aficionados a meal full of varied BBQ flavors.  Meats are dry rubbed and slow smoked over local Oak wood, resulting in tender, fall off the bone deliciousness.  Regulars recommend getting a group of friend together and ordering a bunch of plates for the table to share.  Barbecue favorites are the St. Louis sticky ribs, the beef burnt ends, and the smoked pork belly.  Pair them with several snacks and sides, like hush puppies with maple bourbon butter, fried pickles, and mac and cheese.  The bar has a surprisingly large beer selection featuring craft brews, you can get a flight of 4 for $9. Hard lemonades are a secret specialty that will quench your thirst on a hot day. Western themed decor and upbeat music create a lively atmosphere, perfect for their Thursday night line dancing.  Even if you don’t dance, bar specials like $3 PBR tall boys will make it worth your while.

Half Full Brewery: Drink Delicious Brews

Half Full Brewery is always a fun place to visit, with excellent beers in numerous styles. The Cherry Vanilla Dry Stout is something special, with a light and dry body complemented with a creamy tartness and subtle vanilla nose. Also popular is the house IPA, a robust and hoppy brew with an earthy, spicy character to it. Stop into the tasting room to try the great concoctions here, or take home a growler full of your favorite selection. Every other Friday Half Full does an open house, and Saturday afternoons the brewery has a guided tour complete with sampling! Italian Fare in a Warm Ambiance at Ferrante Restaurant
