When you indulge in a special high tea for two at Dr. Bombay's Underwater Tea Party, you're doing more than just treating yourself to a piping-hot cup and some sweet pastries. You're also helping women in India realize their dreams. That's because Dr. Bombay's funds a project known as The Learning Tea, which provides internships to women in need in India.

That being said, you'll probably enjoy your high tea at this quirky, colorful shop even more. Make a reservation any day between 3 to 5:30 p.m. (groups of all sizes are welcome) for just $35 for two people. This entitles you to a pot of tea for two with all the fixings, including honey, sugar, lemon, and milk. There are plenty of treats on the side too, ranging from scones and brownie bites to quiches and finger sandwiches. From the vintage china to the pretty linens, every detail is carefully conceived at Dr. Bombay's.
