Enjoy Short Films at the Atlanta Shortsfest

On July 7th and 8th, the Atlanta Shortsfest will return with a program of film screenings that celebrate the art of the short film. The festival returns to Synchronicity Theatre as part of the Atlanta Film Series, a four-month independent film showcase. The Atlanta Shortsfest features works by filmmakers from around the globe who specialize in different film genres. The 2017 schedule is available online, and this year, the showcase features animated films, documentaries, short dramatic films, and short comedic films—so there should be something for everyone.
In addition to the screenings, the two-day festival also promises a filmmaker meet-and-greet on Friday night and a Saturday night closing party. Tickets are required for this festival and are available online. All-access passes are $50, while one-day passes are $25, and single shorts block tickets are $10 each.
