Decatur BBQ, Blues, and Bluegrass Festival: Enjoy Fine Barbecue and Music This August

Bluegrass and barbecue come together for the Decatur BBQ, Blues, and Bluegrass Festival, which hits Oakhurst on Saturday, August 12th. This year marks the 17th year for the popular festival. Presented by Tabasco, guests of this festival can expect to nosh on barbecue ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, barbecue chicken, brisket, and pork, as well as classic sides like cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, and beans.

As far as music, the festival features more than seven hours of live music from bluegrass and blues musicians, including both local and national artists. The first performance starts at 2:30 p.m., and the music continues all the way until 8:45 p.m. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. The festival is taking place at 630 East Lake Drive and Harmony Park, which is just a short trip away from Station R.
