Last year, almost 20,000 people turned out for the Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival, making it one of the biggest Caribbean food festivals anywhere on the continent. If you want to be part of the fun this year, mark your calendar for Sunday, September 3rd. The Georgia International Horse Park will host the fest from noon to 10 p.m.

Of course, the main event is the Caribbean fare. Chefs from around the area will craft authentic cuisine to dish out, and the produce market will provide the ingredients you need to recreate the dishes at home. Then they'll compete in the cook-off to win the title of Top Jerk Chef, complete with a trophy and tons of prizes. Live music, arts and crafts, and activities for all ages round out the entertainment at the Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival. Tickets start at $20.
