Drink Your Way Through Georgia Wine Country on the North Georgia Wine Tour October 28th

October 24, 2017 | greystar

You might not think of Georgia as a hub for wine-tasting, but in fact, Dahlonega, which sits north of Atlanta, is considered the center of Georgia Wine Country—and the Tasting Room Capital of Georgia. If you want to enjoy sips of local wines, sign up for the North Georgia Wine Tour, which conveys you right to Dahlonega.

The tour group meets in Atlanta at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th and boards a comfortable bus up to Dahlonega. When you arrive, the first stop is Kaya Vineyard and Winery, perched atop a stunning ridge in North Georgia. Enjoy a few samples of its vino before moving on to Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery, a new winery and family farm, or Montaluce Winery and Restaurant, a Tuscany-inspired eatery and tasting room. You might also stop at Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery, which has earned more than 150 awards for its wines. Each tour consists of three stops at a combination of these wineries, plus breakfast and snacks, in addition to transportation. Tickets are $115.
