Just as summer begins to feel like it might just be tangible, Sunfest rolls into town to celebrate the warmer weather. On the first Saturday in June (the 3rd), the Rising Sun Chamber of Commerce puts on the festival to help the public celebrate the rising temperatures. It kicks off with a parade at 9 a.m., followed by a day-long festival all around the town.

The many activities going on for Sunfest are free, so bring friends and family along. Start by playing some games and winning some prizes, or grab a spot on the grass and enjoy live music and other forms of entertainment. You can also grab food and drinks to enjoy as you wander around too. The fuel will probably be necessary, given how much is on the schedule at this year's Sunfest!
