Even if you don't consider yourself much of an artist, the talented instructors at The Palette and the Page can bring out the inner artist in you. At the Life's a Beach: Sculpted Ceramic Tile class on June 7th at 6 p.m., Jenny Davies-Reazor spends two hours teaching you how to master the art of sculpting your own ceramic tile.

She'll show you, step by step, how to mold the clay so that it resembles a beautiful sunny shoreline, exactly the type you'd like to lounge on when the warm weather arrives. Then, on June 14th, come back to the studio after your tile has been fired so that you can add the final flourish: bright-hued glazes to really bring the picture to life. The cost is $55 per person, which includes the instructions and all the supplies necessary.
