Rescuing a dog means more than just saving the life of a single canine. The act contributes to a movement that's changing the world, one pup at a time. At Four Paws One Cause 2017, local animal shelters and adoption organizations come out to the Fair Hill Fairgrounds with their cutest pups. Potential adoptive families can meet-and-greet with the cute critters or just enjoy the dog-centric activities on the schedule.

The first Four Paws One Cause fest will unfold on Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd. In addition to showcasing adoptable dogs, it also promises fun in the form of a performance by a troupe of frisbee-fetching dogs who guest-starred on America's Got Talent, in addition to other fun activities. Tickets start at $10 with most of the proceeds going right back into organizations that save local animals.
