There's nothing that says Halloween quite like watching Hocus Pocus. The only thing that might be spookier than viewing this classic at home is watching it under the stars at the Mayor's Harvest Festival in Newark. On Sunday, October 8th, just as the autumn chill is about to settle over Newark, Olan Thomas Park will host the festival, which culminates in an outdoor screening of Hocus Pocus.
But before the movie begins at dusk, everyone will have all afternoon to explore the other fall-themed activities at the Mayor's Harvest Festival. Jump aboard a farm wagon and go for a hay ride, head to the arts and crafts table and get creative, or check out the games and live music. You can also grab food and drink thanks to Newark's local vendors.
