Each year on St. Patrick's Day, the residents of Chesapeake City turn out to celebrate in a flurry of color and activity, and this year will be no different. The Chesapeake City St. Patrick's Day Parade is slated for Saturday, March 17th. The fun kicks off at noon near Fourth Street and Bohemia Avenue.

Round up friends or family to come and enjoy the parade. Snag a piece of sidewalk along Bohemia Ave and cheer as the Mummer's Duffy String Jam Band strides by. In its wake, expect to see fully decked out floats, high school marching bands, and other performance groups. After the parade concludes around 2 p.m., stop by Pell Gardens to watch the creators of the best floats and marching groups win prizes and to enjoy live music.
