Celebrate Fireflies at Fair Hill Nature Center’s Firefly Fling
July 5, 2017 | greystar
Summer fun hits its height at Fair Hill Nature Center this July as the attraction presents its third-annual Firefly Fling. For many, fireflies are a reminder of the joys of warm weather and long summer nights, and so, on July 15th, the nature center invites folks of all ages to visit the park after dark and catch fireflies with friends and family. Throughout the evening, guests will learn about the science behind bioluminesce (what makes fireflies glow). In addition to this, guests will also be able to create firefly-inspired crafts, enjoy live music, and more.
Admission for this event is $5 for adults and $10 for children. The event runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on July 15th and is taking place not far from Stonegate.
