Enjoy Greek and Other Mediterranean Fare at Kokkari Estiatorio

August 15, 2017 | sack

Kokkari Estiatorio is a Greek and Mediterranean restaurant located in the Financial District. The restaurant is named after a small fishing village on the island of Samos in the Aegean Sea. By dining here, restaurant-goers can experience the rustic charm of a Mediterranean country inn.

There is an inviting fireplace, beautiful woodwork, handmade pottery and freshly picked flowers adorning the restaurant. Menu favorites include the zucchini cakes, the stuffed pita, the grilled artichoke, and the watermelon and feta appetizer. Yelpers agree that the lamb chops (or arnisia paidakia) is a must-try, but be sure to finish off your meal with the restaurant's homemade baklava.

Securing a reservation for Kokkari will be difficult — you may even need to make a reservation a month in advance!
